The mouthpiece of the mountains, The Mountain of Media is one of the most powerful ways today’s culture is influenced. For example, globally churches that had been limited to serving the attending audience can now expand her viewers to a worldwide audience through the advancement of the internet and live streaming capabilities.

Media has a tremendous impact on our daily lives, even in our churches.  While there are those who limit media ministry to include duplicating tapes, cds, controlling the sound system or running a camera, technology has extended our reaching proficiencies.  Media has always been an important part of the worship experience, but with the evolution of technology, the church can go places without leaving its premises.

Historically, the enemy has made Christians believe they can only affect the Mountain of Media by what they do within the four walls of the church. Restrictions and limitations are stumbling blocks to distort the power of media as it is recorded in Matthew 16:23, Jesus turned to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men.” The church of today must remove the blinders that have caused her to stumble.  Blinders have limited the church’s depiction of the world by limiting her. Kingdom vision broadens the view and reaches around the world.

The church must adapt an ‘out of the box’ mindset and let her mind be broadened to the awareness and effectiveness of a Kingdom mentality.  Media includes books, magazine, television, audio forms, newspapers, social networking, and any other tool used to transport a message.  As the mouthpiece of the mountains, it is the assignment of this mountain to use her voice to evangelize the world.  We are commissioned to reclaim the Mountain of Media to spread the gospel of the Kingdom. Media is not just a form of information but a way to influence nations!
